Kickstart Coffee Stout Beer Label

This mock beer label uses a retro style drawn from lithographic gig posters added with some comic book influences.

The name “Kickstart” reflects the coffee ingredient while tying into the motorcycle imagery to create a brand label that would appeal to beer lovers looking for an added edge. Of course the cafe racer motorcycle is the perfect image subject.

Holiday Email

The AbeBooks holiday email campaign has begun. This is the template and graphics I came up with for this year.

Christmas Ad 2008

This is the 2008 holiday campaign I designed for AbeBooks. The theme was applied to print ads and a holiday web page.

Story Laboratory

I designed this logo a while back for AbeBooks Storylaboratoy, a book making workshop for children. The character's name is Glitch and he pops up in promotional materials, colouring pages, postcards etc. that I have designed as well.

Oceans of Opportunity Logo

Here are a couple of colour variations on a logo I designed for a tradeshow. This logo didn't get used however because the tradeshow organizer's had already chosen a piece of crappy clip art. Too bad, I thought this would have looked great on a jacket.

D: All Things Digital Magazine

This is the notebook magazine and bookmark created for the Abebooks / Houlihan Lokey submission to the D: All Things Digital swag bag. Design and illustration by Christopher Leduc, words by Richard Davies. I was really shooting for that retro comic book feel and also gave the whole thing an aged look as well. This was a fun project that I got to work on aside from my usual user interface work.
